At INWIA Counseling and Training Center we approach every aspect of life from a Biblical, Conservative, Christian perspective. In addition, our counselor training is based upon the principles and precepts of the Word of God.
There are many Christians who do secular counseling. We are not just Christians who counsel. We are Christians who do Christian counseling. Yes, there is a difference!
While we approach all of life in this manner, we are not judgemental. We truly desire to help individuals, couples, and families improve their relationships with family, friends, and God.
We know that an individual's temperament and past experience shape who they are today. Using the Arno Profile Survey we discover how God made each counselee and why they respond to others, circumstances, and God the way they do. Using this information we explore multiple aspects of the counselee's temperament. We discover how the counselee can approach future situations and circumstances using the strengths that God has given them instead of simply responding from their weaknesses. Ultimately, the counselee and the counselor seek to identify God's Purpose for the counselee's life.
We work with individuals, couples, and families, applying biblical principles and an understanding of Temperament Therapy to various needs including marital and pre-marital counseling, child and adolescent therapy, clinical issues, family therapy, group sessions, addiction therapy, and more.
We provide biblical, pastoral counseling to those who seek healing in their lives and desire to learn more about how God has created them and how to apply His teaching to their lives and relationships. Sessions typically last about an hour. However, it is important to us that we do not finish until the Holy Spirit is finished and some sessions may last longer, dependent upon the need.
INWIA Counseling and Training Center works with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Our clients are primarily from Wisconsin. However, we have worked with clients from as far away as Washington D.C., Florida, Nebraska, and Colorado. Sessions can be held face-to-face at our offices, via telephone, or via the internet by webcam.
